No power-thank you Sandy!

Well, I lost power during the night thanks to hurricane Sandy. We have a new generator but not going to use my sewing machines on it. Not sure if the power is steady enough. Why is it that when I can't sew I really want too?  I wonder how long the outage will be. Last year it was out for eight days. Hope not that long again!  Hope everyone came thru the storm alright.
