Making progress!

Yesterday I made some progress on the table runner and toppers for Christmas! I am pretty happy with how they are turning out. I will put some more time into them today and hopefully get them finished up! My quilt shop-Yankee Quilter is doing a pillowcase drive for the kids from Sandy Hook (about ten miles away). I need to help with that effort also. I'll post a few pictures and then get to work!!!
Notice I did another 10' table runner! That is seriously long!

New machine

My new Ruby sewing machine had an issue so the company is sending me a new one! I tried to use it on a project but no such luck. I will fall back on my old machine and finish up my Christmas projects! The mug rugs are finished and the table toppers are not. Since my Christmas shopping is finished I feel pretty good about it. I have a couple new projects in mind for the first of the year. Can't wait to start those.

Almost ready to take lessons on my new machine!

Our grandson Austin is here for two more days then we take him back to his parents. He is two and a half so I chose to enjoy my time with him and not try to multi task with sewing!

I picked up my new sewing machine- Viking Ruby while the kids were visiting for our late Thanksgiving weekend. It is out of the box but not turned on. I will get some lessons then it is off to the races so to speak! I have a few projects to finish for Christmas. Shouldn't be too hard. I gave my DIL the mug rugs for Austin's teachers, she liked them!

I'm excited to get back to my projects but first I must finish playing with my grandson!
